Booking and reservations of ski and snowboard lessons 

The ski school Fankhauser disclaims any liability for accidents that occur during, before or after the ski lesson. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants. Course fee refunds due to injury or illness only with a doctor's certificate. Courses cancelled due to weather conditions (force majeure) or cableway failure will not be replaced. Private lessons take place in all weather conditions. The course ticket is not transferable. Any unused lesson times (or days) expire!  In the event that y group is reduced to less than 4 participants, we reserve the right to merge these with other groups or to reduce the course time. Repeated teacher exchange is possible due to the flexible organization. 
All services and supplies of the ski school due to online orders or other online services are subject to the present terms and conditions. The use of transportation facilities (lifts) is not included in the course price. The ski school is not liable for forgone course times due to failure of the lifts and cable cars.

Rental and booking of ski and snowboard equipment 

Each tenant is liable for the proper return of the equipment to 
the amount of the actual price for the products. Theft must be reported to the police. 

Additionally to the nominal fee of 10% of the rental price must a deductible in case of theft, loss or breakage must be paid:  Premium-Skis Euro 250,-; VIP-Skis Euro 150,-; VIP-Ski (2nd year), TOP-Skis, Snowboards Euro 80,-;    Basic-Skis, Snowblades, Cross Country and Children Skis, Big Foot, Ski boots, Snowboard boots and Cross Country boots Euro 50,-; Helmets Euro 40,-; Poles Euro 10,-.
If no ski insurance was taken out, the tenant is fully liable for the rented articles.
In the event that the rented material, for whatever reason, is not properly refunded, by the landlord on the 7th day of overdue automatically filed charges of theft against the tenant.  On the 7th day of overdue, the tenant will be prosecuted for theft automatically. The early termination of the rental agreement is possible by return of the rented items, but without reimbursement of the agreed hire charge. Refunds are made only in case of illness or accident, upon presentation of a medical certificate, under deduction of a cancellation fee. Refunds for bookings through our online portal at www.skischule-fankhauser.at are debited with a cancellation fee of 10% of the rental price.
The hirer is authorized to demand a guarantee in the form of deposit of a document (passport, identity card, driving license) or a surety.
The deposit of a guarantee does not count as purchase price for the equipment. 

Online Content 

The ski school/ski rental (hereafter referred to "author") takes no responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the provided information. Liability claims that refer to damages of material or immaterial nature and caused by the use or disuse of the information or the use of incorrect and incomplete information against the author, are generally excluded, provided there is no deliberate or grossly negligent fault with the author.  All offers are not-binding and without obligation. 

The author explicitly reserves itself the right to change, complete or delete parts of the website or the entire offer or to shut down the publication temporarily or permanently without prior notice.

The "package" deals are exclusively available in the online shop and cannot be combined with other offers.

References and Links 

For direct or indirect references to other Internet pages ("links"), which lie outside the responsibility of the author, a liability obligation would only enter into force if the author was in knowledge of the contents and if it would be technically possible and just and reasonable to prevent the use of illegal content. 

The author hereby declares that at the time of linking, no illegal content on the linked pages was recognizable. The author has no influence on the current and future design, contents or authorship of the linked/connected. Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. Refund Policy

Refunds for bookings via our online portal at www.skischule-fankhauser.at will be charged a cancellation fee of 10% of the price.

Place of jurisdiction and choice of law 

Court of performance is the central establishment of the ski school/ski rental. For disputes, the court having jurisdiction at the location of the headquarters of the ski school/ ski rental is in charge. Austrian law applies. The contract language is German.
